ACFA is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting and nurturing the cultural enrichment of Ajo, AZ and the surrounding area.
Our membership initiates, supports and produces a wide variety of artistic performances, as well as improving the capacity to provide these opportunities.
The volunteer Board of Directors conducts the business of the organization. It meets the second Thursday of each month, from September through May. These meetings are open to all members.
All ACFA’s activities are planned and carried out by committees which meet at irregular intervals or as needed.
We have several committees including those for theater, art, music, technical support, Discus Auditorium upgrade, membership and others.
The full membership meets only two or three times a year. Elections for Board positions are held at the annual general meeting on the second Thursday in March.
